In it to win it!

When I am on the computer and I am not looking for, posting, talking about or watching reality TV shows (which isn’t very often by the way!) I will be doing one of two things – playing silly games on Facebook or entering various competitions and sweepstakes

I have so many sites and forums in my bookmarks folder that list all the best contests out there that I can literally spend hours doing it per day some times. I have won a few things over the years – the biggest and best probably being my Wii, it was something I really wanted at the time so was thrilled when I got the email to say I was the lucky winner. I have also won make up sets, a laser cosmos projector, various copies of computer software and Amazon vouchers.

I’ve never managed to win a holiday though and those are the contests I enter more than any other, my fiance and I have never been abroad together partly because we can’t afford it and partly because he’s scared of flying – but I know if we won a holiday he’d man up and hop on a plane with me

I had also been trying to win a laptop for several months, finally gave up on that and bought one in the sales a few weeks ago. Currently trying desperately to win Kinect for me and a PS3 for the other half.

Find the best UK Bargains

To say I am a fan of bargain hunting would be an understatement, I spend a good portion of my online time doing it. In fact come this time of year all of my family basically hand me a list of Christmas gifts they need to buy, and I get busy doing all of their shopping for them — I am a bargain hunter because I hate spending money but love shopping — so being able to shop til I drop without having to spend any of my own money is a dream

One site I use heavily to help me with this is UK Bargains, a site dedicated to providing tips, tricks, cashback offers and killer bargains in the UK. UK-Bargains.net covers every thing from money off vouchers and free delivery codes, to how to get free credit for your mobile phone, how to get the most out of your online shopping thanks to cash back sites like Quidco and TopCashBack, free cinema screenings thanks to SeeFilmFirst and so much more.

In the last week alone they have posted vouchers for free delivery and a whopping 20% off at Nike Store, Debenhams and Dorothy Perkins!

With the Christmas shopping to get done, it’s a must visit for every one
