Britain’s Next Top Model Cycle 6 – New Panel Revealed

The new judging panel for the upcoming sixth series of Britain’s Next Top Model has been revealed.

Julien MacDonald OBE, Grace Woodward and Charley Speed will join new host Elle Macpherson when the show returns in the summer. The three judges and Macpherson will award the eventual winner with the title of Britain’s Next Top Model as well as a contract with Models 1, a cover spread with Company and a campaign with Revlon.

MacDonald’s designs have been worn by many celebrities such as Cheryl Cole, Kylie Minogue and Paris Hilton, while his roles have included head designer of knitwear at Chanel and creative director of Givenchy. He launched his own label in 2004 and was awarded his OBE two years later for services to fashion. You may also remember him as a judge on Project Catwalk.

“I am honoured and excited to be chosen as a judge on Britain’s Next Top Model,” said MacDonald. “I hope my passion and experience within the industry can help create a show that is both realistic and fun, but more importantly, find the new face that can grace our catwalks.”

Woodward was handed the ‘Fashion Stylist Of The Year’ award in 2009 and runs her own company, which combines her writing, marketing and creative direction talents. Speed found fame at the age of 17 appearing alongside Kate Moss in a Calvin Klein advert. He was named the ‘Male Model Of The Year’ at the 1997 VH1/Vogue awards.

Speed said: “I was really excited to be asked to join the panel of BNTM. Having modelled internationally since the age of 17, I feel I have the experience to help the girls negotiate the pitfalls and pinnacles of what I consider to be one of the most exciting careers out there.”

Woodward added: “The appointment of Elle Macpherson as the host of BNTM is going to catapult this show into überdom. Personally, as an industry professional, I relish the challenge of developing a new generation of properly great models.”

Site News – What’s going on

If you tried to visit RealityTVFan.org over the last few days you will have noticed it was down again. Unfortunately my webhost decided that I was getting too much traffic and it was causing issues for other users on the same server and blocked all access to it, this is the third time they have done that in the last 2 weeks.

I decided the best thing to do was just move to a new more capable host. I hope that these guys are more reliable because it was a lot of work and hassle getting every thing moved over…but only time will tell, so if you notice the site down again over the coming days and weeks you know why. But panic not, RealityTVFan.org will always return sooner or later, I love this site…I have been like a lovesick puppy the last few days without it and it is not going any where.

Some issues are still being worked out, for example the subscribe to posts feature isn’t working, but we’ll be back 100% how we were in no time.

If you could comment on this entry I would appreciate it, purely because I am not 100% sure the new hosting is properly propagated yet, so I need to know if people are here or not.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience :)
