Wow, that’s a record. One episode into the actual competition, and I already have two contestants I strongly dislike in Tali and Ryan. Both of them have egos way too big for their talent levels, and I especially dislike Tali actually planning to throw someone under the bus, using those words.
On a somewhat related note, what is with the gender-crossed names? We have a woman named Felix, a woman named Monti, and a man named Tali.
With MC-America and MC-Australia running at the same time, I can't help but compare them….and the Australia version wins every freaking time! The judges actually treat the contestants like human beings *gasp* and the contestants are actually NICE to one another, instead of at each other's throat like rabid dogs. God help any foreigners who watch the US version *cough*train wreck*cough*….they probably think that we Americans are barbarians out for blood no matter the cost.
Thank you soooo much for much for posting both versions….and for reminding me why I don't watch a lot of US reality TV shows.
I too love the australian version. I think the americam masterchef is all rehearsed, full of characters with scripted parts. The cooking is secondary to the plot . very poor version indeed. The judges spitting out the food or throwing it in the garbage is so ridiculous that i can only assume that its made on purpose for drama effect.
Sorry for the errors, Im from Brazil.
