Get your specs from Zenni Optical

If you are a bargain hunter and savvy shopper like me, you will have no doubt heard of Clark Howard, I am from the UK but even I know who he is and what he does – we also have our own Clark Howard in Martin Lewis from Money Saving Expert.

In his newly released book “”Living Large in Lean Times” which is all about saving money, making money and avoiding getting ripped off, Clark Howard talks about the best way to get cheap eyeglasses online and recommends that people check out Zenni Optical, a business I have recommended her on RealityTVFan.org in the past myself as they have such a wide range of products available and offer really affordable prices – you can get your prescription eyeglasses for as little as $7 and they ship worldwide, I have been buying my specs from Zenni for around three years now.

The book itself is a great read and contains 250+ tips on how to live in these lean economic times we are all currently struggling to deal with. Other tips include switching your service providers, buying newspapers with coupons in them, avoiding extended warranties and making your online purchases with a credit card as you are more well protected should any thing go wrong.

Challenge time

I just bought my first ideal protein drink – I made the decision to lose weight over four years ago now (wow, has it really been that long?), I reached my goal around a year ago and have been maintaining since. I gained a little weight back after getting a puppy last year and going off the rails a little at Christmas but I am well on my way to shifting it again. It did worry me how quickly you can let things slide and go back to your old ways though and I realised that I need to have a challenge or something to be working towards in order to keep myself motivated.

Whether it be following some kind of exercise program like Turbofire or P90X or learning to run through Couch to 5k. So with that in mind I have just signed myself up to some 10k runs for a few months time. It not only gives me something to train for and concentrate on but it will also be a nice challenge as the furthest I have run so far is around 7 – 8k.

I am sure I will be able to build it up in that time and make it so that I won’t embaress myself and finish last.
