Spoilers spoilers spoilers don't read until you have watched.

Waaaaaat just happened? I was only half watching the elimination after I knew who was in the bottom two – based on the earlier teaser ("A star performer goes home") and who they were I thought I already knew the result 100% – about fell off my chair when it went the other way.

I look forward to hearing them explain their logic in the next episode.

  2. Contestants….WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?

  3. I like that we have an honest bunch in general who follow their hearts. My least favourite season was 2. When Chris swooped in and fucked up Munnalita and courtney it was like an angel had been sent to destroy the arseholes (by sending an even bigger arsehole). Lovely Mel and Damien got screwed for being good people too!

Only thing I am sad about is that this could be Kaseys demise. I would love her in the finale.

Oh yeah yeah and also, almost in tears when Graham was being hounded by Commando. He is such a lovely person! It was like watching someone flick a puppy's nose.

  4. And Michelle….YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT FAT WHINGING LUMP. He looks the same four months on..THE SAME and she looks amazing. No no no!

  5. OMG… Margie must turn into the nicest, fluffiest person ever off camera or something… weird people!! But well, I think Michelle might be better off at home with her mum… would have love to see her win though!

  6. Yeah. I mean we all put on masks unconsciously unless we are with the people who know us well OR talking candidly to the camera in the confession room. I think as an audience we have seen a lot more of the real Margie with her judging comments to the camera than the contestants have seen face to face. Margie can be charming, and she can crack jokes… it relaxes people around her…. and relaxed people don't feel threatened.

I thought Graham did exceptionally well… 7.6 is basically 8 commando! Sheesh that man will be on your butt for 400 grams?

I think Michelle will drop Ham-ish as soon as she realizes how pretty she is. She shouldn't be with a guy how cries more than she does and who has bigger boobs than she does!

  8. I had a feeling that Graham had been sucked into the red team vortex considering he chose Michelle over Lydia last time. But wow, I was surprised that Brenda is such an idiot and quite possibly Bek too. I was just like what the hell happened. Who would be a bigger threat in the super challenge etc., all the challenges and weigh-ins etc. What a bunch of morons!

Commando scolded Graham like a parent scolding a child… over roasted peanuts? It's ridiculous. But then Graham is very child like sometimes.

What was Brenda, Graham and probably Bek thinking? Like Shannan says in the next episode, Margie is a much bigger threat than Michelle! Maybe they are afraid that Margie might return to the house in the night and slash their throats? That's the only logical reason I could think of. Maybe they will justify their choice in the next episode.

I hope that after watching the show and doing some self-reflection, Hamish will strive to become the (better) man that Michelle deserves. What can I say, I am a romantic (fool).<3.

It's weird but Michelle's exit interview has not been posted on the TBL-AUS official website even after episode 57 has been aired.

  13. Uhhhhhhh… I'm thinking most of the weight loss in this group has been in brain cells! You keep the bigger threat, who also happens to be a two-faced, manipulative b***h? Will say I had no idea that Alex was such a talented actor… crying, saying it was the hardest elimination ever. :)

  14. Graham is frustrating though, I cannot blame Commando at all. Even though it was just nuts, who cares if other people were stealing them from your cupboards? Nuts are high in cals and fat so LET THEM!!! It is so hard at this point to see Graham still having to be pushed by everyone. He got to go home to Carcor, that wheelchair athlete (sorry, name is a blank right now) from his home urging him on and sharing his story. Everyone in the house pushing him because they KNOW he is not giving 100%. It is too frustrating at this point in the game people should have "Gotten it". Why hasn't he?

I guess that is what I find most frustrating about this season. Most seasons the whiners and slackers (not trying to be mean, I know it is hard to change your outlook) "get it" within the first few weeks. Then they realise how far they can push themselves and start getting some confidence.
This year, Graham, Hamish, Selina, and Ryan still haven't seen the light, still consistently making excuses. It is hard to watch.

  15. I agree with you, This guy has not motivation, no ambition, either she will be smart and catch on or he will drag her down with him and they will be two fatties again by next year, and I DO NOT wish that on anyone!! Even Hamish!

  16. I doubt it, He has had every opportunity and people pushing him. What better opportunity would a person have then being in Camp BL to build their confidence? Yet when he came back into the house and had to compete to stay, even for his one true love he didn't even put in the effort. With the "triathalon" competition on the the only the fattest guy in the history of the BL, Ryan came behind him. Out of Brenda, Bec, and Shane, Hamish was in the house longer then any of them. He should have had the strength and the mindset to come in first. At least beat Bec. But he grunted and groaned the whole way, Even after commando told him to run, he still trudged along.
I cannot give him the excuse anymore that he is young. Yes he is young but there have been many young contestants on the show before and never had his horrible attitude. The problem is not that he is young but extremely immature.

I cannot figure out for the life of me what the hell is wrong with these contestants. This is their *second* chance to eliminate Margie, and they keep her around *again*. Margie was the far bigger threat in terms of weight loss, challenges, and manipulating people.

Graham, you are an idiot. The woman you have a crush on just gave you a 1 kg penalty, and you *reward* her by keeping her partner in crime around? Get a spine, man!

Brender, you are an idiot, too….although a pretty one. Ummm, do you not remember Lydia, Margie, and Lisa freezing you out and tossing you under the bus first? Why the hell would anyone reward the very people who eliminated you!!!!

Considering the "final five" want to keep themselves in the game, *none* of the eliminated returnees, including Lydia, should have voted for Michelle. If it's a final five strategy, then yes, it made sense to the five to keep Margie, who will bolster the weight loss results for the remaining four "originals", and it would have made sense for Lydia, Brenda, and Bek to all vote to eliminate Margie, for that would leave the remaining four "originals" weaker than if they had Margie (she's just a bigger threat than Michelle). Since Kasey would never vote for Michelle, that means the eliminated contestants just blew their golden chance to get rid of Margie. Don't count on getting that again- Margie plateaued, just like Lydia did, but also just like Lydia, Margie will bounce right back.

    GAH!!!!

  18. I am shocked! Did you notice the look on Margie's face when she realized the results? She looked completely shocked as well. I think Lydia was hoping everyone else would step up and eliminate Margie since she felt honor bound not to put her name down. Wow. What were they thinking?! This is the second time Margie dodged the elimination bullet. Once against Selena and now Michelle. Incredible. She probably should win, the others seem to keep handing it to her on a silver platter.

You guys gonna have The Voice Australia?

If you do, BTW, don't use YouTube. Someone had the performance up there and got slammed and shut down.

  20. Well, it's true! Someone was stealing the nuts….someone called Graham D:!

  21. Commando was pointing out to Graham that he got that number while only putting in 75% effort. He knows that Graham could do more and if he put in 100% imagine the number he could get!

  22. I-Heart-Australia Says:

  23. oh and he only got 6.6 kg…

  24. What idiots!

  25. Wake up contestants This is a game for a lot of money. What is wrong with you people.Never seen such a bunch of losers in my life. The biggest loser are the bunh that left that terrible Margie in the game. So annoying.

  26. Pfffffffff, Lisa didn't take part in water loading? So she just gained 3 kg on the outside through pigging out? Doubtful. Lisa was a game player just like the rest, hanging on to her alliances for support.

  27. Looks like the casting for Biggest Loser this season was a worldwide disaster. At least the Aussie contestants didn't WALK OUT when the eliminated people showed up. USA folks claim they weren't told it was a possibility to bring back folks. Aussies weren't either, they didn't like it, but they stayed and played anyway.

No good reason to keep Margie. Think Brenda and Graham were confused. Crazy stuff indeed.

  28. I have no doubt whatsoever that Margie gave Michelle that trip home knowing it would be the end of Michelle.

  29. People are brought back almost every season! No sympathy from me whatsoever.

  30. The show this season has been like an ELEVATOR. It has been going dooooooooown and then dooooooown some more. And just when you have reached the ground floor and think it can't go any lower… you discover that there are sevel levels BELOW the ground!

Seriously, just when I think it can't get any worse… it DOES.

As to the question: "WTH happened?"

    Simple.

    ALLIANCES. That's what happened.

Graham who thinks he has a "heart of gold" is really only a 3-year-old in an adult's body, somone who is afraid of any form of confrontation (notice how he sqeezes his eyes shut every time he is confronted by the Commando, as if that will make him go away). The reason he has a crush on Lydia is simple: She is demanding and tells him what to do and where to go. To Graham that's a form of security: It's easier than finding his own way and making his own decisions. So Graham? Savely wrapped around Lydia's finger. Beks? Still pissed at White for "stabbing her in the back", vindictive to the 9th degree. She will vote out any White without blinking twice. Alex? VERY easy to manipulate as was apparent when Margie told him that he needed to play for immunity. Brenda? Pffff, few remaining brain cells lost by too much champagne and too much mascara. Hell knows what she was thinking. Or Beks talked her into it. Who knows.

Anyway: Margie is not going anywhere. She has them all firmly in her alliance pocket and still has heaps of weight to loose. She could fall under every week now (which I am sure is not going to happen again) – they still wouldn't vote her out. And is anyone doubting that she or Lydia will win the traditional super challenge at the end of their Switzerland week? Of course she will.

Btw, I crack up every time Margie talks about how "fit and strong" she is. Margie dearest, you are 1,75 m and still around 110 kg. You need to loose almost 35 kg (!) to even be in a normal BMI range.

This is about as UNexcited as I have ever been about a group of contestants going on the "face your fears" week. I just don't want to hear them blabber about how they are "a new person" (no, they are not), how they will "never go back to the way they were" (yes, you will) and how they can "take on everything now" (yeah, right). I also don't care if they throw Margie of the Matterhorn, send Graham bungee jumping or Alex river rafting.

And just one more thing: I now hope that by some miracle Margie and Lydia DO make the finals – AND BOTH LOSE. That way they would NOT win the title, would NOT win the money and would NOT win the at-home price.

I have already written off this season and am putting my hopes in the next.

Are you sure you're not Miss Sherlock? That looks like her icon….

It's funny how the contestants voted out Lydia when they had the chance, but passed up Margie twice. That is beyond belief.

They need a "face your brain cells" week

  33. That'd be an empty plate.

These people weren't unloved because they're fat, they were unloved because they're too stupid to act in their own self-interest, to SEE their own self-interest.
