I was wanting Bev to win in the final showdown. Darn.
Really don't know what drives Sarah: she claims to want to be nicer, but a minute later cuts off Bev's story with a lame exclamation of "there's a tree."
Paul for the win.
FUUUUUDDDDGGGGGEEEE. Top Chef is always really good at building up really nice hard workers and then tearing them down in favour of assholes. Well, my only fav left is Paul. I know Lindsay is probably gonna win, and it's nice ot have a female win, but I'd rather it be a nice one like Bev.
For crying out loud. I just knew they weren't going to put Beverly in the top 3. It was nothing but a big tease. She did so well in the first 2 challenges. Big surprise they pit her against Sara in the final challenge just to slap her down. What an unbelievably sucky ending. I wanted to see her wipe Sara out! So unfair she did so well in all 3 challenges, when Sara sucked in at least 1 of them, just to be kicked off at the end.
If anyone but Paul wins, I'm going to be very unhappy.
Beverly may be a tiger, Sara, but you're nothing but a vulture. Beverly has more class in her little finger than Sara and Lindsay do in their whole bodies combined.

I hate the way they structured this round… Overall Bev did much better than Sara and they should have taken that into consideration. Bev is a more innovative chef. Plus she's a genuinely nice person. I hated the way Sara says at the end "I'm so glad we did this together, blah blah" and then doesn't even bother to wait til Bev leaves the room to turn her back on her and be gleeful with Lindsay and Paul. She obviously saw what a bitch she is on TV and decided to try to change the perception… but failed.
Paul had better win! He totally deserves it.
(BTW Gail Simmon's blog said that Paul's soup last week was the best dish in Top Chef history.)
Saddened by the result, Bev should have stuck with her Asian fusion food. Still, this was probably the funniest episode of Top Chef ever. I can't believe they made them do sports.
Padma doesn't like beverly too….you can see it in her face. And a stew warms up their cockles i suppose. Beverly could have done better….she tried so hard, and sara was working hard to hide her dislike of bev.
She got through to the final four via suspect means, and now this, I am not expecting great things from her, and the other little princess either.
Paul is going to fxxk it up, and one of these cah is gonna win it.
Beverly could be irritating maybe at times, but there was no need for their treatment of her…these 2 pluss the other one….thank god can't recall her name….heather?……women are just bitches sometimes.
Who was the third plate for? They made a big deal about Lindsay not having enough salmon, then showed her making up three plates and the judges only got two? Anyway, Paul FTW!
Gwan, I think they always usually make an extra plate for the cameras. i was disappointed Bev was eliminated. But I respect her. I want Paul to win too. I hope he doesn't choke.
"Like Bev said: "It does not matter what people say, who you are will shine through."
I'm so frustrated because I can't seem to view this episode video or the prior episode. I don't know what's wrong, but I can't get past the sponsored video – can anyone help?? I'm getting behind!!
Thanks, my conspiracy theory brain was wondering if it was for the producers or something, since you know there's that little line in the credits saying their opinion might be taken into account (although I suspect that's more for "s/he's good for the ratings"-type concerns than anything you'd have to taste the food for.
