i'm not watching tuesday's episode because i could care less of seeing scotty and lauren. However, I am watching wednesday to see haley perform and that's it. I'm sure she'll have a great career after idol and i will be buying her first single and album!

Can't believe they chose lauren over Hailey. I would have loved to seen her heads up against Scotty but america chose wrong yet again. and I agree the first single and album she comes out with I'm buying. Love ya Hailey

I'm definitely happy with the Top 2. Hayley is indeed a great singer but I've found that she growls too often. She had some great performances but her attitude the past couple of weeks have been off-setting. She's definitely talented but I think she needs to hone down what genre she really sings. Plus, I don't really know what kind of album she'd release based on her performances. Some weeks she's really jazzy and then some weeks she's rock. There were some moments where she actually reminded me of Adele… now that was awesome. She'll figure it out I'm sure.
With Lauren and Scotty, it's pretty much known that they're country artists from the get go.
Lauren is a more versatile talented singer. I've always liked her better than Hayley. Lauren seems to be more relatable and humble. She can definitely be the next country/pop star.
As the judges have mentioned she does remind them of Kelly Clarkson and even Carrie Underwood … who by the way were the most successful Idol winners.
Scotty's always been great. The fact that he's young talented man appeals to a larger demographic (i.e. young girls) and his admirable character and humility appeals to families and children. Also, Scotty's voice is refreshing cause it's low (compared to past Idol contestants) and you don't hear that often in the music industry.
Either way these two young singers' lives will change after this competition regardless if they win or not.
