Bad verdict which ignored a whole season of performance. Dave was mediocre all the way through, and he only survived because he was never the worst. Leanne and Tiffany were top rankers from the start, and any mistakes they made in this challenge were only minor. But Top Chef traditionally doesn't favour women chefs, they'd rather have Dave in the final than two women.
On the other hand, how do you eliminate someone who clearly had the best dish?
One of the things I really like about Top Chef is that they judge everyone's food challenge by challenge. If you mess up once, you are going home, no matter how well you did throughout the show.
Why would they even keep him on the show if he was going to be out no matter how well he did?
Tiffany should have went home. She's a typical bitch: she thinks that she's better than everyone when she isn't, clearly, and she plays her gender card when necessary. Men are the best chefs, as they are the best hairdressers. Deal with it, Sour Grapes!
It's so ironic and a strange kind of justice that right after Stephen gets booted they get to work with a great wine and elegant truffles — right down his alley. I agree it seems an injustice that L goes home after clearly being a better chef throughout the competition than Dave. But as mentioned, they judge challenge by challenge and even though he messed up the quick fire, the panel of guest judges/chefs must have really liked his dish (and it was beef).

I thought either T or L should have won. Dave should have gone this week.
